The New Line feature films Hairspray and Rush Hour 3 passed the $100 million mark at the domestic box office. Hairspray, starring John Travolta, Michelle Pfeiffer, Christopher Walken, and Queen Latifah, is only the third recent musical film to cross the $100 million mark at the domestic box office after Chicago and Dreamgirls and had the biggest opening weekend at the box office of any musical in film history. It has earned more than $108 million to date since opening on July 20. The film’s soundtrack from New Line Records continues to land in the top 5 of Billboard’s Top 200 chart after six weeks of release.

He is based in New Line’s Los Angeles headquarters.
